SBI PO EXAM 2014, 1837 VACANCIES: APPLY ONLINE NOW


Eligible Criteria

Education: Graduate ( Any Stream ). Final year may also apply for the post.
Age Criteria: The applicant must be in between 21 to 30 years of age. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC and ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
No of Chances: You can at max apply for 4 times if you are a General candidate and at max 7 times if you are a PWD ( General ) candidate. However, there no limitation for SC and ST Candidates.

SBI Bank Exam 2014 Expected Date

The date has not been decided yet officially. However it is expected to be on 8th of June.

SBI PO Post Vacancy Distribution

For General Caste people there 757 Vacancies. There are 235 and 439 seats reserved for SC and ST respectively. 457 seats are reserved for OBC candidates.

You can be placed anywhere in India.

Key dates for SBI PO Exam 2014

1. SBI PO Online application Date: You can start applying for the post from 7th April, 2014.
2. SBI PO Online Registration Date: You have to register on or before 25th of April, 2014.
3. Online Payment: 7th April, 2014- 25th April, 2014
4. Offline Payment: 10th April, 2014 – 24th April, 2014.

SBI Bank PO Exam Syllabus and Marks Distribution

Objective Marks: 200
Descriptive Marks: 50
Candidates will have to appear for the objectives questions online ( 200 marks ). The online exam will be followed by descriptive test which the students have to appear offline ( 50 marks ).
Objective exam will be of 2 hours duration with 4 sections, carrying 50 marks each. Whereas, the time allotted for descriptive examination is 1 hour. Questions based on English would be asked. Candidates comprehension knowledge, short précis, essay and letter writing skill would be tested.


Application or Registration Fee

1. 500 INR for General and OBC Candidates.
2. 100 INR for SC/ST Candidates.

How to Apply for SBI PO 2014 Exam

1. Register yourself on their official website. You will need a scanned copy of  your photograph and signature.
2. After registering, make the payment online/offline. After successful payment, an application form would be generated.
4. Fill the form and then hit the SUBMIT button. Don’t forget to note down the registration number.
5. On successful registration, you will have to download the Call letter for SBI PO examination from the official website from 30th of April,2014.
6. Take your I-Card on the day of your examination.
